French chain store FNAC unveiled a larger, 15.6-inch Spectre x360 with Intel Skylake-U processors, up to 16 GB of RAM and a 4K IPS convertible display.

There is a bigger Spectre x360 out there: the French store FNAC unveiled the still unannounced HP Spectre 15 x360 (15-ap000 series), a 15.6-inch convertible 2-in-1 with last-generation Intel Core Skylake-U processors, UHD (3840×2160) 4K display and large connectivity.

According to the FNAC website, that revealed the datasheet of two different configurations (15-ap000nf and 15-ap001nf), the new high-end convertible will have a larger screen but also 3 full-size USB 3.0 ports, a USB-C 3.1 port and two video out (HDMI and miniDisplayPort). An high-quality, four-speakers Bang & Olufsen audio system is also present.

No photos or description are available, but most likely the new Spectre 15 x360 will be a larger version of the Spectre 13 x360 – with a similar aesthetic and a full-metal hull. The full datasheet shows:

  • Intel Core i5-6200U or i7-6500U
  • Intel HD520 Graphics
  • 8 or 16 GB LPDDR3 SDRAM
  • 256 or 512 GB M.2 SSD
  • 15.6-inch (3840×2160) IPS display
  • 3x USB 3.0; USB-C 3.1; HDMI; miniDisplayPort; audio combo
  • SD Card reader
  • WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac; Bluetooth 4.0
  • Miracast support
  • Four Bang & Olufsen speakers
  • Backlit keyboard
  • 64.5 Wh internal battery
  • Weight: 1820 grams
  • Dimensions: 378 x 247 x 16 mm
  • Windows 10 Home (64 bit)

According to the FNAC website, the Spectre 15 x360 will be available in France at least two different configurations, priced €1499 (Core i5, 8 GB, 256 GB) and €1999 (Core i7, 16 GB, 512 GB); highly probable but unconfirmed is the presence of a Synaptics digitizer.

At the moment there is no evidence of non-French configurations or official confirmation of the product from Hewlett-Packard, but most likely the new HP Spectre 15 x360 (15-ap000 series) will be officially announced during the CES 2016 in early January.
