KD Interactive announces today Kurio Smart, a new Windows 2-in-1 Tablet PC designed specifically for kids with a 8.9-inch screen, Atom processor and Office 365 Personal.

A lot of kids are using tablets – and they start asking for ‘my first computer. KD Interactive worked with Microsoft to create Kurio Smart, a 2-in-1 hybrid Tablet PC specifically designed for kids, that gives everything they want in a first computer for less than $200.

Kurio Smart is a sleek, lightweight and portable Atom-powered Tablet PC with a 8.9-inch (1280×800) touchscreen and a detachable, magnetic keyboard that closes up to become a screen-protecting hard carry case.

Coming with a one-year free subscription to Microsoft Office 365 Personal and more than 40 preloaded apps and games (a $200 value), Kurio Smart is perfect for writing papers, reading e-books, studying, playing and safely browsing the web in a kid-safe environment, while parents can access hundreds of thousands more apps through the Windows Store.
